Former fly-in, fly-out worker Bronte Glass has labelled Mark McGowan’s claims the public is sick of inquiries as “disgusting”.

Ms Glass, who as one of dozens of victims to give evidence revealed she was drugged and raped on a Goldfields site, said the inquiry was crucial in leading to cultural change.

She said she was baffled the Premier wouldn’t back growing calls for an independent inquiry into the State’s youth justice crisis, challenging him to “be transparent” and “get the truth out there”.
Mr McGowan said inquiries were nothing more than an expensive “talkfest” and the public was over them and that instead practical solutions to problems in the youth justice system would be discussed.
