One of the final pieces of West Coast Fever’s premiership defence has been put into place with Australian men’s coach Nerida Stewart announced as the new assistant coach.

A former NSW Swifts star, Stewart replaces long-time assistant Belinda Reynolds, who was named coach of the Sunshine Coast Lightning after five years at the Fever.

An experienced coach at state, national and international levels, Stewart will join Fever next month under coach Dan Ryan who was excited to have his new assistant on board.

“I’ve known Nerida for a number of years now and we’ve both been big supporters of each other’s coaching journeys,” Ryan said.
